| Current Project (s) and What you're seeking (explain in more detail what "I'm Looking For"): |
It is my belief Hollywood has had it's 100 year run and filmmaking is no longer strictly a Hollywood domain. The time has come to look at flmmaking as a national interest - NOW!!!
Unfortunately some folks in Hollywood see runaway production as any film that leaves California, but the rest of the U.S. filmmaking community, located throughout the entire country, realizes it is a problem when films leave the United States.
Advances in camera and lighting technologies reduce the dependence on the necessity for studio filmming and makes location shoots more desirable.
New England is in a position to become a significant movie making region if we can get all aspects of the filmmaking community here working together toward that goal. We have locations from the most historic to the most modern; urban to rural; moutain top to desert; beach to forest; and just about anything you can think of. Support New England filmmaking by attending the various premieres and numerous film festivals showing through our region on virtually a year-round basis.
