I am what the Boston Globe called "a digital renaissance man". But as a brief introduction I am a media artist.
My most recent work is in documentary short form where I produce, direct and write combining a few of my talents into one area. WILMA'S WARNING which I produced for the fledging Al Jazeera English's "People and Power" show chronicles an environmental chemist in her fight in post Katrina Louisiana, for environmental justice. While I grew up in Philadelphia and Cape Cod, my maternal family has deep roots in Louisiana, and so I felt I would put energy towards helping this most creative of American cities.
Ancient history:
Eighties, I received my Masters from the Center for Advaced Visual Studies at MIT. Soon thereafter I started GoldmanArts which produced gigantic inflatable sculptures for the entertainment and museum industries some were interactive and some now live in the permanent collection of the CooperHewitt National Museum of Design.
2000 sold parts of GoldmanArts and in late 2001 with my wife/partner took my two children around the world on a 70,000 mile eighteen country, eight month trip. <http://goldmanarts.com>
Prior to all of that I received my undergrad degree in Theater concentrating on Directing and Design at Connecticut College.

I am currently working on a documentary started at the Woods Hole Film Festival with Kate Davis as co-producer/senior editor about the comedian David Lasagna called LAYERS OF LASAGNA |
