With a background in managing educational and sustainability projects in the US and Africa, Susan Bryant joined a documentary about Afghan women leading their country back from chaos, as Associate Producer. Since then she has worked as sound recordist on The Education of Shelby Knox, The Making of Oblivion, the special features for the Criterion Collection DVD of Harlan County USA, and Globalvision’s In Debt We Trust; America Before the Bubble Bursts. She enjoyed training African interns for Mahalia Films Taking Back the Stable, and the Centre Internationale D’Experimentation et Valorisation des Ressources Africaines Africa is Rich while serving as primary sound recordist, and working on National Geographic's s/v Whydah exhibit. She is currently creative producer and screenplay adaptor of Gary Keith Griffin's story of three boys in Czechoslovakia's Velvet Revolution.

As a professional field audio recordist, I am available for sound work and am registered through Central Booking Service (free to producers!). For my independent film on the three boys in 1989 Czechoslovakia I am looking for advice, financing, and distribution to put the production on a sound business foundation. |
