Bio: As an emerging Director, Doug Gordon's greatest asset is his ability to craft pieces solid in concept and rich in creativity. He exhibits strong vision, encourages collaboration and especially excels in directing talent & real people. He enjoys sports themes, communicating emotion and capturing environments.

Since receiving his Master’s degree in Film Production in 2002 from Boston University, Doug has focused on sharpening his visual storytelling and technical skills through work that includes narrative, music video, documentary and spec commercial projects. He has experience throughout the US and overseas - including South China, where he acted as Director of Photography for a NASA funded documentary. He has also worked for such companies as Digital Domain in Los Angeles and Handheld Films in Manhattan. This past year, Doug has mainly concentrated his efforts on adding quality work to his spec commercial reel.

His first short film "Sully" was an official selection of the Redstone Film Festival and received the Fleder/Rosenberg award for Best Short Screenplay. Doug’s most recent short film "The Fens" was an official selection this spring & summer at various festivals including in Hawaii, Chicago, Boston and New York. He is fully proficient in the formats of 16 & 35mm film, as well as high definition video.
