Jeremy Indick, Bass Player and Band Leader
Objective To maintain a professional career in the performing arts, to
display my musical talents in front of a live audience.
2008- Bass player of Middleboro Theatre production of “The Wiz,” by William F. Brown and Charlie Smalls. Performance times, Feb. 1-3, The Wayne Caron Auditorium, Middleboro, MA.
2007- Representative for M One Studios, Detroit, Michigan, bass player for Royal Caribbean vessel “Sovereign of the Seas”, Port Canaveral, FL. Member of the orchestra, playing different shows and jazz sets throughout the week.
2007- Bass player for the Sweet Apple Theatre Company’s performance of “Little Shop of Horrors”, by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. Performance times, Aug. 9-11, The Wayne Caron Auditorium, Middleboro, MA.
2007- Bass player and band leader for LCM productions of “David the Musical”, a rock opera about the life of King David of Israel during biblical times. Performance times, May 9-13, The Calderwood Pavillion at the Boston Ctr. for the Arts. Other responsibilities including arrangement of the entire score, and choreographing live music with live performers. www.davidthemusical.info.
2004-2007: Bass player for The Chris Allen power Trip, a Boston based rock and roll band featured in such magazines as Guitar World. www.thechrisallenpowertrip.com
1999-2003: Served as a judge for the New York State Fair Marching
Band Competition. Assisted in preparing marching bands and evaluated
their performance.
1995-98 Cicero-North Syracuse High School Concert Band. Instructor:
Anthony Maio. Playing bass guitar with an entire concert band ensemble
were my priorities. Reading sheet music and carrying out my parts was
the objective. Many classical pieces by famous composers were done.
Concerts included audience members of 500+ persons.
1995-98 Cicero-North Syracuse High School Jazz Ensemble. Instructor:
Anthony Maio. Playing bass guitar for an entire jazz ensemble were my
priorities. My duties included reading sheet music by many famous
composers, and keeping the time for the ensemble.
1993-95 North Syracuse Junior High School Concert Band and Marching
Band. Instructor Dave LeBlanc. Concert Band included the role of reading
sheet music for classical music pieces and playing in front of audiences
of 500+ persons. Marching band responsibilities including
playing
memorized music pieces in a live marching ensemble in parades in front
of audiences of 1000+ persons. Many competitions and awards were achieved.
Education Onondaga Community College- Several college course credits:
Communications field, TV and radio. High School Diploma, Cicero-North
Syracuse High School.
Bass playing lessons 1991-93. The Bebop Shop Music Store, Liverpool, NY.
Teacher: Timothy Cleary. Completed all three of the Hal Leonard
Publications bass playing series booklets.
Special Skills An interest in music has been the most important part of
my life. I have an outgoing personality and wonderful people skills.
Reading music is also another skill that I possess.
