Peter Brown
Citizen of North America, Creating music since 1954. Today he composes, produces and still records his original inventions (as he calls them) from his State-of-the-art 48 track, 24 bit digital home studio environment in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He began playing in bands when he was eleven years old with one of his Dad's big bands playing the bass fiddle and other assorted instruments as needed whenever a member of the band couldn't make the gig. He started his own band in 1962. His Father let them practice in the garage and Peter later went on to play at local clubs and restaurants with older musicians in their late teens and early twenties. “ I was really lucky back then because those older guys let me play all the Jerry Lee Lewis lics I wanted to.” “I remember my first big concert performance at the Fine Arts Institute in Baltimore back in 1967. I knew at that point, I couldn‘t go back to working for the car wash.” When Peter was eighteen, he drove out to California with his band where they bought a house in Los Angeles. They played at "The Whiskey", the "Troubadour" and countless other hotels, clubs outdoor and large indoor venues alike through-out the state. They played in San Diego, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. In 1971 Peter moved back to New England and rejoined with a few members of a previous band where they committed to writing original songs-where many of his earlier musical influences came in to play. Peter's recording skills were developing as early as 1962 when "sound on sound" recording (in stereo) was still rather new. Peter has been recording his original material ever since. Peter later went on to play solo piano through-out New England developing and honing his technique and piano craftsmanship as his audiences matured as well. Peter played along side Tommy Flannigan, for the Governor of Connecticut, for Senators and parties for Congressmen as well as for many well known actors and actresses. |

| Current Project (s) and What you're seeking (explain in more detail what "I'm Looking For"): |
I'm currently working on a series of films turned animation. Very exciting stuff. We're able to fly in some of my previously recorded compositions as well as compose on the spot using ProTools 7.3 LE with loads of plug-ins etc.. Can't think of anything I'd rather be doing! |
