Founder of Boston-based Milk and Cookie Productions, Philip is a fledgling shoestring filmmaker, currently branching into any and everything he can. With a background in engineering and health care, he has a history with acting and directing onstage, improv and sketch comedy, and is now breaking into the film scene.
Milk and Cookie Productions' first film, a 45 minute short entitled "The Quarter-Life Crisis," was a successful filmmaking experiment. The film premiered in March, 2007 at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, Ma. As an official selection of BridgeFest 2007, the film was also screened internationally in Vancouver, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.
He is currently in post-production on his sophomore writing/directing effort, the ensemble drama, "Skin and Bone," which premiered at The Brattle Theatre on Sunday July 20, 2008.
This "double short feature" of "Skin and Bone" and "The Quarter-Life Crisis" was the Boston Globe July 17th issue "Film Choice of the Week."
