Bio:
He’s been called a soulful white guy, an acoustic geek-rocker, and the love child of Elton John and Billy Joel. Matthew Ebel has spent all of his life singing and playing the piano, everywhere from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry to Boston’s Roxy Theater. His latest album, Goodbye Planet Earth, is a rock-solid, complete work in 17 movements. The album is a noted departure from Matthew’s typical organic feel, combining highly electronic elements like synthesizers and loops with raw vocals, pianos, pennywhistles, and more. It follows his critically-acclaimed release Beer & Coffee which, thanks to the power of the music and podcasters, spread Matthew’s reputation across the globe as one of the biggest names in new media music.

Taken piano lessons since 1983, BA in Music from Whitworth college, major in Composition. Currently a full-time artist/producer with multiple solo albums released. Instruments: vocals (tenor & baritone), piano/keyboards, pennywhistle, some bass guitar.
THEATER:
Performed with the Spokane Opera and Withworth College theaters.
Have produced marketing presentation music for Porter Novelli, Crayon, and Creative Concepts. Target clients included Ikea, Anheiser-Busch, Bigelow Tea, Coca-Cola, and more.
