Miele Law Group PC is a law firm dedicated to matters involving technology, patents, art, and entertainment.
Miele Law Group PC helps artists, entertainers, and related organizations with their legal needs, in a variety of areas. Our legal services might range, for example, from negotiating leases for space, to helping a musician close a deal with a record label, to defending a copyright infringement action in Federal Court.
Some of our clients include musicians, visual artists, authors, and filmmakers.
We pride ourselves on being both readily accessible to our clients and sensitive to each client's unique needs. Meanwhile, we understand the wide range and complexity of challenges facing the artist and entertainment community. We bring with us:
An affinity for the Arts. Our lawyers and consulting staff have experience in various types of art and entertainment. For example, our staff is made up of former aspiring artists and others who have formal training in areas such as film, fine arts, music, and writing.
Business experience. The founder of our group has started and run two successful law firms; was a partner of a national law firm having offices in LA, Washington, DC, and New York; and helped manage a software startup. Our attorneys have experience with crafting and negotiating a wide range of deals. We also understand how critical cash managment can be to the mere survival of new and even more seasoned ventures.
Unconventional. While we value our national ties and big firm experience, we are a small firm. We are small because we want to be able to represent emerging artists, and to take fresh new approaches in our practice of law. |
