I hate these things... But here goes:
I have a degree in Journalism and a certificate in film studies from UMASS, Amherst.
I have a digital filmmaking certificate from the Center For Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University.
I have almost two years experience working as an editor/photographer for WWLP 22 News; an NBC affiliate based out of Springfield, Massachusetts.
I started out editing films using two VCRs and and a Walkman when I was 15...Currently I am trained in, own, and regularly use Final Cut Pro and Avid Xpress Pro.
I'm a film junky and will talk your ear off about anything related to filmmaking. I love meeting editors with more experience than me and learning the tricks of the trade.
My favorite movies are generally documentaries, especially socio-political ones, but I'll also gladly sit through whatever the latest 100 trillion dollar blockbuster is playing downtown. |
