I'm a Masters Degree candidate in Interior Design here in Boston and I'm trying to find out how to pursue a career in art direction. I've always found it fascinating how the medium of film can create places that previously only existed in the imagination. And now, I'm finding that the possibility of achieving that myself has come to my front door! Now I just have to find the keys to get in. (I know that the metaphor is a bit cliched and doesn't quite work but I deal in visuals here -- I hope you get the picture.)
Advice and opportunities on working as a set dresser, set decorator, set designer, production designer, or art director are welcome.
