Bio:
I am an actress, singer, dancer from Rumford, RI. I have a passion for Musical Theatre and straight plays. I have done a little film and would like to try it again. I feel that I am very easy to work with and others will tell you the same. I feel that the DIVA complex isn't necessary when working in Theater or Film (unless, of course, your role calls for that sort of behavior). Yes, as actors we naturally possess somewhat of an ego, but I think we should check it at the door at least until a project is finished. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Performance from Rhode Island College (Rhode Island? ... is that in New York?... no that's Long Island <sigh>) I like to travel so I'd like to have worth while reasons to do so. I would like to be in a Broadway, Off Broadway, or even Off Off Broadway Musical or play. I'm not in this for the money (but making some doing what I love would be great). I do it because I absolutely love the feeling of having a live audience to experience things with. I like making people feel and react, laugh, cry, even make them hate me sometimes. At least they are feeling something. The corporate world can be pretty cold and boring. I prefer comedy to drama but I can perform in either genre. I am very versatile and am always looking for new and exciting things to do in order to challenge myself. There is always room to love something new.
