Jeff Burns is a writer, producer, and director from Troy, NY. His films have screened at several film series throughout New York State. Until recently, he served as President of Upstate Independents, an organization of filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, and media artists in the Capital Region of New York. He is an active member of Independent Artists Collaborative, a group of actors and filmmakers based in Kingston, NY. Two of his films - "Chasing Fate" and "Breaking Up" - recently screened at the Ruff Cutz Indie Film Conference in Boston. Jeff is also co-founder of the start-up company Writing Methods and teaches learning-disabled high school students how to improve their writing and critical reasoning skills. |

| Current Project (s) and What you're seeking (explain in more detail what "I'm Looking For"): |
Currently writing first feature film. "Guardians" is about a female warrior from the Catholic Church and her trainee trying to prevent a group of vampires from acquiring an ancient artifact that will make them immune from any weaknesses. The film is an action/drama with a lot of quirky humor. It's about the bonds of sisterhood between the two protagonists and about making sacrifices for the greater good. |
