Film Director/Producer |
| Bio: |
Jim’s creative career began as writer, director and host of the “Dark Comedy Theater” and the television satire “Media Roulette” for MECCA TV. Jim then went on to study theater at The Actors Workshop, and film production at Emerson College, both in Boston. The Emerson years yielded the sci-fi animated short “Metamorphosis” and drama “News That Affects You”. Following college, Jim wrote, produced and directed the independent horror film “Hellion”, in which he played the creature (pictured below).
By 2002, Jim had taught himself 3D computer design and animation, immediately producing the award winning short “Placebo”, a parody of fitness infomercials. Seeking a greater creative and technical challenge, Jim commenced work on “Saul Goodman” in 2004. With a non-linear, story-within-a story narrative, elements of comedy, drama and science fiction, a sweeping backdrop, and a cast of thousands, “Saul Goodman” proved to be Jim’s most complex work to date. |
