Bio:
Some people coin the feeling as the “acting bug,” but there’s nothing buggy about it. Indeed the word that best describes what I live for as an actress is “rush.” The thrill of adrenaline exploding from my body through voice, expression, and physicality sustain me. My ultimate euphoria? Passing that rush to my audience.
My career started at the age of nine and I was very active in theatre at schools and in my community throughout my childhood and adolescence. I attended Syracuse University, having over 75 theatrical productions under my belt, and received a BFA dual degree in Acting and Spanish Literature, Language, and Culture. I studied at the world renown Shakespeare’s Globe in London, UK and performed the role of Lady Macbeth on the Globe stage. While at my university, I acted in numerous independent and student films. Upon completion of my degree in 2005, I returned to BOSTON and have become extremely involved in the entertainment industry through television, film, theatre, as well as modeling.
If you would like to see me in action, you can frequently spot me on any given day in the spring, summer, and autumn in Downtown Boston on The Freedom Trail. I work for the Freedom Trail Foundation as a costumed tour guide and am available to give tours in both English and Spanish. I also have 8 years of martial arts training and one year stage combat experience in addition to extensive physical training in Alexander, Laban, and BioMechanics Techniques.
Acting is the most profound and beneficial form of education. The more I perform, the more I learn. I learn from myself, from my situations, from my fellow artists and more importantly, from my audience; those people whom I teach and entertain. We must never forget it is thanks to our gracious and supportive audience that we find ourselves driven to excel in this wonderful career.
