For the past ten years Lew-Ann has been working as a freelance producer/director in the film and video field. She has produced MADE IN MAINE segments for Maine PBS, SHENANIGANS KIDS for WOGT-TV, industrial films for the commercial and art world and award-winning short films for her own production company, Shenanigans Productions.
She holds a BA in performing arts from the University of Maine at Orono, spending her senior year of school at Hunter College in NYC, studying and completing an internship in theatre at Musical Theatre Works.
After graduation, she stayed in NYC to study acting, voice and dance, and to pursue work as a union actress.
Returning to her home state of Maine, she enjoyed a ten year stint as Artistic Director of Shenanigans Productions, the theatre company. At this time she co-wrote Betsy's Irish Wedding and Betsy's Class Reunion for her company.
Her film and video training include classes at the International Film and Digital Video Workshop in Rockport, Emerson College, Middlesex Community College and The Boston Film and Video Foundation. She studied editing on Adobe Premiere with Eric Jergensen at Maine Video, Final Cut Pro at Mecca and traveled to London to study PD150 camera technique from Christina Fox, former BBC camera operator.

I am crrently editing Hitchhicker's Journey for Fishfood Productions. I directed it two weeks ago. |
