Kat Alix-Gaudreau, Filmmaker
Kat Alix-Gaudreau attended UMASS Amherst and the University of Georgia, earning a BA in Theater and an MA in Sociology, respectively. She began her indie film career with the 2004 48-Hour Film Project. Her project, “Fatal Choices,” garnered interest from local news station CN8 and Kat was interviewed for a live broadcast of CN8’s Nitebeat. One month later, Kat founded Sneaky Camel Productions and over the next three years produced 7 more short films. One of those films, "Bloody Mary”, showed at the 2005 Rhode Island International Horror Fest. Currently, Kat is working as an event videographer, directing a short fiction piece entitled "Birthright" and enjoying an internship with Iguana Films, where she is working in post-production on the documentary "Rebel". |
