The 24th Annual Boston Gay and Lesbian Film/Video Festival, May 7-18, 2008
May 7-18, 2008 the MFA will present this celebration of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues and culture. This year's highlights include Water Lillies, by Celine Sciamma.

Accepting submissions of features, documentaries, and short films on LGBT themes

Please include a dvd screener, film technical details, screening history and information on upcoming planned screenings, and press kit containing at least one film still. Screeners will not be returned without a self-addressed, stamped envelope Submissions accepted through January 31, 2008

Past highlights include:
Beyond Hatred, the 2006 Teddy Award for best LGBT documentary.
The Bubble, by Israeli director Eytan Fox, co-presented by The Boston Jewish Film Festival and Keshet.
Spider Lillies, the Teddy Award for best LGBT feature at the 2007 Berlin International Film Festival.
Transgender documentary Boy I Am, followed by a panel discussion.
The new feature The Picture of Dorian Gray from AKA director Duncan Roy.
A rare screening of Jean Genet’s Un Chant D’Amour
Nina’s Heavenly Delights

A full schedule and tickets for the 2008 festival will be available online in mid-April.
