New England actors have organized a fundraiser for victims of the Amory Street Fires that happened on May 8, 2008 in Cambridge,MA in the Inman Square Area. This event will be on Sunday, August 3rd 2008 from 6-11pm at the Greek Hellenic Center 25 Bigelow St. Watertown, MA.
The event features Frank Hsieh's 18 piece Beantown Swing Orchestra ( featured in the upcoming film My Best Friend's Girl) dinner, dancing, entertainers,a dj, and both live and silent auctions including Sports and Film Memorabilia. Tickets purchased by 8/1/08 are $20 each and can be purchased at

The Amory St Fires occurred in May 2008 in Cambridge, MA. The fire caused extreme damages to the three-decker at 110/112/114 Amory St., the home of three families A group of New England actors are organizing the event due to thier connection to the residents. One of the residents of the burned building,Georgia Ravanis Fennessy, is the mother of Kevin Fennessy,a well known Boston casting director of motion pictures and a resident of Cambridge as well. Kevin Fennessy recently worked on My Best Friend's Girl, filmed in Boston, starring Kate Hudson and Dane Cook. We honor Kevins’ mother with this fundraiser with the hopes of rebuilding her home she has temporarily left behind.
