OurStage - Every month the Final Winner in Music and Video Each Receive $5,000 OurStage - Every month the Final Winner in Music and Video Each Receive $5,000 Featured
The Premier Online competition with the largest cash prize for video and music. The final winner in video and music each receive $5,0000.
Addicting Clips
Addicting Clips, a sister site [of Atom Films] that accepts any content, pays $500 to producers of chosen clips through its Cash Clips program. (Clips that earn money are chosen based on viewer feedback and the site operators' whims.)"
Atom Entertainment
Very selective about content; videos must be picked for inclusion by site editors, and are generally licensed exclusively to Atom for a specified period of time. Producers earn royalties based on the popularity of their content (and sometimes an advance payment, too), plus a share of any additional distribution revenues generated through deals with partners such as Verizon, for mobile video.

Babelgum - Beta Babelgum - Beta

From website - in Beta - "There are different models for revenue. We actively approach larger content owners and in some cases licence material directly, or with a combination of sharing in advertising revenue.

Blip.TV Blip.TV
Any content. Recommends limiting file size to 100 megabytes.

Break.com Break.com
Short videos under three minutes, short "produced" films over three minutes with storylines, short Flash animations.

Brightcove
Producers can set a per-download price (minimum: 99 cents), or allow Brightcove to insert ads. For the former, Brightcove splits revenues 70-30, with the creator getting the larger share; for the latter, the revenue split is 50-50. But affiliate sites that point users to an ad-supported video can earn 20 percent of the ad revenue off the top; for pay-per-view videos, the producer can set her own commission rate for affiliates.

Current.TV
Current TV is made up of Pods: non-fiction short videos about what's going on in your world, in your voice, from your point of view. Pods are around 3-7 minutes in length and generally use a character, action, or event to tell a story. They should also be sprinkled with information. The site has a clear liberal orientation.

DivX Stage6
Good news: You can run the DivX content you upload here on a vast variety of DivX compatible DVD players installed in entertainment systems, cars, computers, portables, etc. Bad news: You can only upload DivX content on this site. However, there's a 2GB size limit (!)... which should be plentiful for about 2 hours of video content. Also is high-quality display even at full screen. There are some plans for providing Pay-Per-Download service (May 2007), but at present it's all free downloads.
Google Video
Appeal: It's Google. | Interface: Typically clean and sparse Google layout. Uploading requires you download the Google Video Uploader. Allows you to add plenty of metadata, including a transcript. You can monetize your content by assigning a sale price to each clip (you can also give users a "day pass," giving them access to the content for a limited time, but not ownership). | Editing: None. | Sharing: See below. | Verdict: Google Video requires a "video verification" process, where your submission is reviewed to ensure it conforms to Google's technical standards and legal policies. This process "may take several days," so check back for an update.
Kyte Kyte
Mostly created for the social networking crowd who wants to mix live streaming, broadcast videos, photos and music and even polls into channels. These can be shown in the Kyte website, widgets placed in blogs or any location that accepts embeddable HTML, as well as on mobile phones!

Lulu.TV Lulu.TV
For uploading videos and for DVD distribution.

Magnify.NET Magnify.NET
Allows you to create highly-branded video social networks. What does this mean? Say you want to create a video network focused on RC Cars or say a presidential candidate. And you'd like users to be able to add videos, others to be able to review them, rate them, tag them, and all the goodies we've associated with video + social networks a la YouTube. And let's say you want it to appear on your domain name rccarsvideoglory.com, and look just exactly the way you want it. Magnify.net lets you do just that. This probably explains its meteoric growth....

Metacafe
In the Producer Rewards program, once an uploaded video has been seen 20,000 times, the producer starts getting paid. 20,000 views earns $100; after that, each additional 1,000 views adds $5. A video that is seen two million times would earn $10,000. As of January 2007, three producers had earned more than $20,000 each.

Panjea Panjea
Any content.

Revver
Appeal: YouTube with monetization--if people watch your video (and the embedded ad), you get paid 20% of what the advertiser pays Revver. If they click on the Revver link at the end, you split the proceeds 50/50. | Interface: Quicktime-based. Requires you to download a client for uploading content. Tagging, emailing, rating, playlisting. | Editing: None. | Sharing: See below. | Verdict: Offers a unique revenue-sharing model that may appeal to content owners and producers. But: Uploading process is convoluted (the promised drag-and-drop functionality was nowhere to be found). After trying to upload my file using the Revver client twice, my video was still listed as "unavailable." I later received an email from Revver stating that my submission may contain unauthorized material that requires clearances--which is true.
TurnHere

To get "certified," producers must first submit a two-minute audition film. Producers are paid anywhere from $200 to $1000 for a finished short film about a place. (Films then become TurnHere's property.) TurnHere also asks producers to submit their source tapes, along with keywords related to the piece, and addresses of any merchants or attractions included in it.

Veoh Networks
Allows high-quality display, and accepts large series of content.

Video Movement
Combines video from selected independent producers with ads, and pays in proportion to the number of views of the content.
Vimeo
Appeal: Flickr for video. | Interface: Nice and clean, uses a flash wrapper to play native formats. No download required, simple and easy uploads. Tagging, commenting, voting. Nice player with a volume control and no burned-in logo. | Editing: None in the current version. | Sharing: Post to Flickr, send to del.icio.us, download original file, embed in your MySpace profile or blog, create an RSS feed. | Verdict: Good video quality. Embedding the video in Wordpress worked flawlessly.
vSocial vSocial
An online social networking service and video platform that helps community members to communicate and share content. Users can choose from a number of Creative Commons licenses during the upload process.

VuMe (formerly Eefoof)
Any content.

YouTube
Appeal: The video-sharing site everyone's already heard of. Mindshare-winner by a mile. | Interface: Tabbed pages feature ratings, favorites, flagging, tagging, and commenting. Create playlists, subscribe to other's uploads, subscribe to tags. The player only features a mute button (rather than level control), and full-screening the video opens a new window and starts playback over. | Editing: None. | Sharing: Embed in other websites, including Friendster, eBay, Blogger, MySpace. | Verdict: Easy to use, no major issues. Decent video quality, audio sounds compressed. Video embedded in Wordpress fine (but was off-center). But: No progress bar for uploading. Fairly lengthy "processing" delay before you (or anyone else) can watch your video.
