Buice and Crumley Timeline:
In September of 2002 they met. In September of 2003 they began working on their feature film. IN September of 2004 they submitted it to Slamdance and it got in having it’s world premiere in January 2005. In september 2006 they began editing their video podcast and launched episode 0 on october 12th, the day apples video iPod was released. Through this podcast they were able to cultivate an online audience for their work. In September of 2006 they launched the theatrical self distribution of Four Eyed Monsters which played every Thursday in September in New York, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston & Seattle. In December 2006 they opened the film for two weeks in New York City to rave reviews deom the New York Times, Village Voice, and AM New York. After winning Indiewire’s Undiscovered Gems showcase the film went on to play in 30 cities on Valentine’s day. Four Eyed Monsters was also nominated for two Spirit Awards in the categories of Best Cinematography and the John Cassevetes. This past January they premiered their film at the first ever feature length screening of a film in Second Life and on June 8th they became the first ever feature film to be posted legally to YouTube.
