Mogulus, the online video company aiming to make you all the next Justin.tv rock star, has raised $1.2 in angel funding, including $1 million from a New York-based Swiss private investor.

The video broadcasting site is currently in private beta, and their differentiating factor is their ability to mix videos in real time for the creation of your own live broadcast. You can mix items from your webcam with YouTube clips and other original content to make a very unique netcast. Their auto-pilot feature will play items from your playlist when you’re not on live. They also offer animated broadcast graphics and other customization tools to offer a more professional appearance to your broadcast material. Mogulus also supports multi-user editing features so that your “producers” can login from remote locations to mix and edit broadcasts in rel time as well.

Going after the collaborative aspects of producing a live (or even pre-recorded) show may be Mogulus’ biggest benefit, as people are looking to create more professional video content in hopes of making a real name for themselves. Hopefully they’ll incorporate a great way to monetize this functionality upon their launch.
