So here's the thing.  I've got some good experience on my own work and on other people's films.  And I regularly find myself struggling to find anything to do.

 Part of this is just that I have to hold down a day job.  But I feel like the other part is that there's no cohesive film scene in Boston.  There are various little groups doing their own thing, but there's no central clearinghouse where people can meet.

 My dream would actually be something along the lines of Roger Corman's old studio.  They pretty much just grabbed a script and some gear and cranked it.  Now it's more possible than ever, what with HD and cheaper video editing and CustomFlix, but why hasn't it happened, ESPECIALLY in a town with as many film schools as this one?

And, more relevantly, dear reader, what do you think it would take to MAKE this happen?
