Yes. I know. I haven't posted here in awhile. It's ok, we survived a street flood, HMIs not working, overpaying for police uniforms, location damage, crew drama, 100+ degree heat, filming next to a yeah dude bar, Boston to Quincy traffic, circuits blowing, dudes asking if we were filming a porno, cast drama, scheduling mishaps, finding a location at the very last minute, and a bus driver calling us terrorists... I feel like taking a little breather after this past month was not only welcomed, it was necessary.
We shot with my Panasonic HVX200 on HD, 24p, stored to a firestore device. The camera was outfitted with a mini35 adapter and using Zeiss Superspeed lenses. Those lenses made all the difference, and I'd like to thank Boston Camera Rental Company for all their help in us achieving our desired affect. I'd also like to thank the crew, an unpaid and extremely talented (and oftentimes delightfully surly) group of people who came out every weekend, hangover or not, to Quincy at ungodly hours and spent their time making sure this movie looked good. All of them did a great job and I'm very proud of the group we concocted.
We have a little bit of filming left, but our principle photography is wrapped. So, here's what I promised! Film stills!

More stills and hundreds of behind the scenes photos are up at our flickr page . Check out our myspace page for more information on our film, Douglas.
Until next time...
