On the morning of the 'Chatham' shoot back in March I was very pleased when I received the call sheet (see below) for the day. I was already excited (and very nervous) about acting with a name actor like David Carradine. But seeing my name printed in the cast section along with those other names like David's, Rip's and Bruce Dern's was just too damn cool. I saved the call sheet as a memento of the day and I finally got around to scanning it in so I could show it here. A call sheet is given to all the actors and crew first thing in the morning so everyone will know what is going to be filmed during the day. It also has the sides (pages of script) stapled to the back for any dialog that might be filming that day in case any of the actors want to review it. It is hard to describe why things likes this are so cool, and fascinating to me. I guess sometimes when you embark on a crazy adventure like mine it really helps to see things like this. These real world objects help crystallize the situation and allow me to process that this dream is really starting to happen! That, yes, I am an actor! Its not just me telling myself that I am an actor anymore. These mementos are significant evidence in the physical world to prove it, to drive it home to me. Yippee!
'Tis all for now!
