It's baaaack... And you don't want to miss out on the fun.

The Boston Underground Film Festival, which runs March 20 - 23, kicks things off with a pre-festival party this Thursday, March 13th, at 8 PM at Good Vibrations - 308-A Harvard Street in Brookline. There will be food, there will be wine, and the festival crew will screen short films and trailers. What's more, you might even receive a festival pass as one of their giveaways. So be there or be square!

The BUFF programmers have again amassed a mind-bending collection filmic debauchery. It all begins Thursday, March 20th, at 7 PM at The Brattle Theatre with the New England premiere of The Wizard of Gore starring Crispin Glover, Bijou Phillips and Brad Dourif. Director Jeremy Kasten will introduce the film and do a Q&A afterward.

Also unspooling for the first time in New England is Altamont Now, La Belle Bete, Il Bosco, Onward to Calgary, Otis, Pop Skull, Underbelly, The Road to Nod, and the documentary Spine Tingler: The William Castle Story - featuring interviews with filmmakers John Waters, John Landis, Roger Corman and Joe Dante.

We'll be there, chronicling the coolness that is BUFF '08. So stay tuned!
