We learn more about this ingenious idea, that behind the Independent TV Festival, to create a brand of Independent TV just as their exists a long-storied track record to Independent Film.

It is worth mentioning that one great website that is working towards that direction is Current.TV, the new Media website and distribution organization advised by Al Gore, which allows new producers to actually get their work on cable. They also had a panel of executives and producers at the festival.
