On January 9th, Imagine News had their major social event of the year. They kicked off the New Year with their 100th issue, and the Imaginnaires Awards Ceremony for distinguished service advancing the business of film, TV and new media production in the northeast.

The recipients of the award were John Rule (for making of equipment provision a fine art), Christy Scott Cashman (for excellent projects throughout), Steven Feinberg and Representative Brian Wallace (for improving the political scene for film and very significant tax incentives for production), and David Kleiler (for the extraordinary underground film festival and decades of service). The event took place at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge.

The night was filled with the music of the song stylings of Juiliana Fraioli accompanied by Vin Fraioli on guitar and Al Iannuccilli on base. Along with friends and family that attended, the room also included actors, filmmakers, and industry representatives from the New England area which created a great opportunity to meet and greet people in the film and publishing industry.
