Editor's Note: Eight new virtual reality locations have been added... to see them click here... They are the eight nearest to the top. Make sure to click download so that you can use Quicktime to experience the 360 degree panoramics.

Do you ever wish you had richer, more compelling locations for your next shoot? Do you find yourself using the same locations over and over? The style and atmosphere of the space can add great dimension to the storyline and visual experience. Why not utilize all the tools available to you?

Beanywood and Panospin studios have partnered up to provide VR Location experiences of great filming sites in the greater Northeast region. These permit you the film-maker to:
  1. Find new sites that add visual interest to the film
  2. Save time from visiting the locations yourself
  3. Notice aspects of the space that help and issues you'll have to work around
  4. Given the ability to zoom and switch perspectives, it allows you to pre-plan in terms of camera movements, viewpoints and the type of lenses to use.

In this release, you'll find eight VR panospins of interesting locations. Four of them are listed below, the rest may be found in the file repository with a link below. You need to have Quicktime installed in your computer (if you do not, you may install it from here). You may move around the panospin by holding the left button and moving around on the screen. You may also zoom in. Make sure to look at the very bottom of every image (underneath you) for a little surprise.

Rainforest Cafe, Burlington Mall
Worcester Museum of Art, Worcester
Kenmore Square, Boston
Gillette Stadium, Foxborough

And many more, to see them click here...

As a producer, director and camera operator I am excited about VR Locations. This fantastic service will save both time and money. I like the Beanywood site more and more each time that I check in.
